Photoshop 3 Homework

 


I think this picture would be hard to photoshop myself into since it is very complicated and has a lot of detail. You would have to be very experienced in photoshop to pull off adding any sort of image in this. 

This picture stood out to me because of the pop of color as well as the setting. Since I have a passion for music I was inspired by this image since I have also been to a lot of concerts. 


This picture had me laugh since there is so many instances where I look at pictures I am in and see someone in the background doing something interesting. 


This illusion is cool since I have seen many pictures similar to this and was always curious how the image was taken.

 Inspiration:  Sketches: Artist Statement:  I did an owl since I feel like I have adapted to be an "night owl" since most of my classes are at night this semester back to back. Also I always thought owls were beautiful animals and are often overlooked. Its amazing they can spin their head 270 degrees and their feathers allow them to attack silently. I enjoyed this project because it allowed me to explore different colors and make different swatches. I also had fun using the gradient tool. It was kind of complicated to use but after practicing on other shapes besides my logo. I thought that the font I used for "C" was effective since it kind of matches the owls ears. I used the pen tool first then use the curvature tool to make it congruent.  Color and Black and white final:

Business Cards

  I had alot of fun with this project since I was able to play around with different text and shapes. I used the eyedropper tool in order to match the color for my logos and changed the opacity. I had trouble at first uploading my tag brush in one of the business cards but I went back to photoshop in order to download it and upload it to indesign. I also liked playing with some different effects on the text like drop shadow and inner shadows.
